As the title suggests, it’s time for Celebrity Dead Pool 2009.
Thanks to all those who have entered. It’s shaping up to be an interesting year, with 18 entries and 126 unique nominees.
Like last year, posts on the Dead Pool can be quickly accessed using the link on the right-hand sidebar. I’ve also added a link for quick reference to the rules and to last year’s competition.

Interesting.
I only put Obama there cos I was sure so many others would have him, being a prime assassination target and all. I don't expect he will get popped, but knew that if he did then that would put me way behind.
I am also wishing I had put names like "Tony Martin" or "John Howard" so that when either the actor or the comedian (see what I did there) die then I get points, by being not specific.
Also, if someone dies in relation to, but not directly because of, their terminal illness, does that count? (so someone with an auto immune disease dies of something that the autoimmune couldn't fight, but doesn't specifically die of the autoimmune itself, or if Michael J Fox dies because he was robbing a house that had an automatic motion detection defence system set up).
And Shannon, I thought you were under the impression that Castro was already dead?
